Gettysburg summer camps

Gettysburg college is offering several opportunities to attend academic camps over the summer months!
   Camp Psych: Campers will get hands on experiences that introduce them to research in psychology during this fun, challenging, and engaging introduction to the field. 
When: July 14-19, 2019 
Where: Gettysburg College campus 
Cost: $1,295 for lodging for 5 nights, meals, and activities 
Who: Rising high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors 
Provides rising high school sophomore, junior, and senior a window into how psychological science works. Campers will get a hands on experience that introduces them to research in psychology in a fun, challenging, ad engaging environment. Campers will not simply learn about cutting edge issues and research in psychology in this camp gives students an insider view of the field as well as preparation for college studies. 

Sunderman Piano Institute: Pianists 12-17 years old who desire to improve their performance skills, collaborate with other pianists, and dive deeply into related music subjects of their choice. Pianists will have opportunities to perform in daily studio class, and the final Friday concert will showcase pianists in both solo and ensemble works. 
When: June 23-28, 2019 
Where: Gettysburg College campus 
 Cost: No charge (Students are responsible for their own transportation to/from Gettysburg)
Who: Current high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors 

Writing Camp: Students gain an in depth introduction to all four genres of creative writing: fiction, poetry, nonfiction, and writing for stage and screen. You will develop unique writing voice and write your own story in one or more genres. 
Where: Gettysburg College campus
When: July 14-19
Cost: $1,275 for lodging for 5 nights, meals, and activities
Who:  Rising high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors

Coding for Robotics & Electronics Camp: Students will gain hands on experience in coding, wiring, hardware, and building robots through the open source software known as Arduino. Through out this camp, campers will learn basic electrical engineering, the physics behind electricity, and how to think like a scientist.

When: Camp 1: June 16-21
Camp 2: June 23-28, 2019
Cost: $1,395 for lodging for 5 nights, meals, and activities
Who: Current high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors

3D Object Modeling and Printing Camp: Students will study 3D object modeling and printing starting with basics of 3D printer. After learning the fundamentals, they will practice designing objects.
Where: Gettysburg College campus
When: Camp 1: June 16-21, 2019
Camp 2: June 23-28, 2019
Cost: $1,395 for lodging for 5 nights, meals, and activities 
Who:  Rising high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors
Civil War Institute Summer Conference: The High School Student Scholarship component of Gettysburg College's annual Civil War Institute summer conference provides high school students an opportunity to explore the history of the Civil War era on the site of the war's most decisive battle.
Where: Gettysburg College campus
When: June 14-19, 2019
Cost: No charge
Who: Current high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors
