The Atlanta Botanical Garden has an opportunity for high school students that I hope you will share with your team of counselors and students in Gwinnett County. We are hosting the 2nd annual Summer Hogh School Internship Program here at the Garden. We look to hire 10 students from the Title 1 schools to work a regular schedule of 21 hours per week, Wednesday-Friday from June 5- July 19. Students will have the opportunity to work side by side with Garden experts to cultivate and conserve rare and beautiful plant species while growing their own college and career readiness skills. In addition to gaining invaluable experience, students will be paid $8/hour and provided with snacks, lunch, and transportation assistance in the form of parking cards or MARTA vouchers.
To apply students must fill out a form on the link below and have two teachers fill out the online Teacher Recommendations Form before March 1, 2019
