- Who: High school sophomore and junior young women
- Requirements:
- Must submit poem in Microsoft Word, 12pt Times New Roman
- No more than two poems by any one student may be submitted
- Label additional pages with the author's name, title of poem, and page number
- Prizes:
- 1st place:
- $5,000 renewable Creative Talents Scholarship in creative writing
- Free tuition and housing for Hollinsummer creative writing program
- $200 in cash prizes
- Publication in Cargoes, Hollin's award-winning student magazine
- Deadline: October 30, 2015
