Semi High Tech U

Students What is Semi High Tech U

This internationally acclaimed career exploration program offers high school students like you a life changing experience. Hosted at high tech sites and taught by industry instructors, activities are engaging, exciting and enlightening.

  • Participate in interesting and fun, hands on, math and science based activities and work in teams to solve real world problems. You'll even prepare for an interview with an industry professional. 
  • Meet new friends with similar interests from other high schools. Nearly 8,000 students have successfully participated in this program.
  • Find out what other careers fit your personality and what you can do NOW to prepare for the future.

2. On the next page click "Student" 
3. On the third page complete all required fields. Password should be eight characters only, including one number.
4. Choose "2019 Nordson- Duluth, GA (29 May 2019- 31 May 2019)" as your program 
5. Click "Register" at the end of the application when completed 

It will be held 
Day 1: Nordson from 8:30 AM TO 3:15 PM
Day 2: GGC from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM 
Day 3: Nordson beginning @ 8:30 AM. A graduation ceremony and reception will begin at 2:00 PM

Are you a student with an idea to help your community? Come learn skills like project management, budgeting, networking, and more to help you take your idea to the next level!

The cost to participate in SIA is $50 and this covers all your food and materials.

Camp STARS In Town

Hospice Atlanta's InTown Bereavement One-Day Workshop

Registration is now open for Hospice Atlanta's one day workshop where bereaved children and adults will gather Saturday, March 16,2019 at the Cathedral of St. Phillip in Atlanta, GA from 8:00 AM -5:00 PM. Thanks to the generosity of the Cathedral, The Junior League of Atlanta, and other community donations, Camp STARS In Town (Sharing Together As Real Support) is offered for a small registration fee of $25.00 per person or family. If you or your family has attended Camp STARS in the past, please note that attendance is limited to two camps to allow space for those who have never participated.

Camp STARS In Town is designed to help people understand they are not alone and that their feelings for loss are normal. We provide a safe environment for children and adults to share their feelings, meet others in similar situations, and learn how to grieve in an emotionally healthy way.
