High school seniors come and attend the overnight event Winter Weekend. You will stay in a sorority house with current students, enjoy a fun talent show and after party, and just see what life at Brenau is really like.

It's FREE!!!

pipeline program

The Pipeline Program was created in 2006 as a partnership between the state bar of georgia diversity program, john marshall law school and the leadership institute for women of color attorney's, inc. the purpose of the program is to gather and introduce a diverse group of rising 9th, 10th, and 11th grade high school students who are interested in issues involving the law and social justice or becoming lawyers. the program provides students with opportunities to learn about various areas of law, meet and interact with lawyers and judges, hone writing and oral presentation skills

Atlanta Black College Expo

Atlanta GLOW has paid for a very limited number of tickets that we would love to gift to our Atlanta GLOW community for the Atlanta Black College Expo on February 3rd at the Cobb Galleria Center. Black College Expo attendees can get a jump start on their futures by being the first seniors and juniors to interview with a variety of colleges and universities and start planning where they want to be when they graduate. Students should come prepared with transcripts and ACT or SAT scores. There might also be opportunities to be accepted on the spot or even earn a scholarship to your dream school! Join the Black College Expo from 9am-3pm and the after show from 3pm-5pm.

To take advantage of complimatary tickets, attendee must agree to qwrite a 100- word synopsis of their experience and submit to Atlanta GLOW (ajames@atlantaglow.orgby February 17th. Tickets are first come first served; however, if you sign up and later can no longer attend, please let us know so we can transfer the cost of your ticket to another student.

Diamond in the Rough

Join Diamond in the Rough this Saturday for our FREE Parent Round table as Chrystol Wilson-Payne joins to provide insight on parent styles and challenges parents to look at what's working and what is not. 

Interactive lesson as we identify parental issues while encouraging parents to address their own wellness and self care.

7th Annual Latino College STEM Fair

7th Annual Latino STEM Fair 

The GoSTEM 7th Annual Latino College& STEM Fair will include a new feature to our event a new "high school track" exclusively for students in 9th-12th grade.

This new track will include an informational workshop tailored to the interests of high school students, and the opportunity to tour the Georgia Tech campus. And for the very first time, we are pleased to announce that students will have the opportunity to sign up for one-on-one sessions with admission representatives from higher education institutes attending the College Fair. 

As always high school students will still have the chance to explore the STEM hands on activities included in the event, obtain career and educational information in our Exhibitors' Fair, and attend our panel featuring Latino STEM professionals.
