Youth United College Workshop

- Youth United is hosting a FREE College Workshop for high school students, on Saturday November 18th, in downtown Atlanta. We invite your students to attend, to learn more about getting ready for college - we welcome students of all ages. Our Young Professionals group has planned a panal discussion and a 1x1 speed menorting activity to do with the sudents - all about Preparing to graduate, having a plan form a young age, scholaships, financial aid, applications.. and any other questions the students might have. Students will leave witha resource packet and new connections to lean on for support.

TAKE THE LEAD SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY

Here at Norwich, we want to reward those students who are on top of all things college with a special $2,000 Take The Lead Scholarship- your students are a few steps away!

Here's how it works:

  1. complete the online application to Norwich. (submit application and send in supplemental items [i.e. high school transcript, test scores])
  2. complete the FAFSA and include Norwich University as one of your choices (00369200)
Complete these easy steps by December 15, 2017, and your students will earn an additional $2,000 for the next four years. That's equivalent to $8,000 towards their college education!

First for Women Wesleyan

- Preview Day / Saturday, December 2 / 9:00 am - 2:00 pm.
Your students will be able to meet with faculty members, take a tour, experience the campus, and learn more about the admissions process, as well as scholarships opportunities. There is no charge to attend.

- Students can RSVP over the phone at 478-757-5165, or by visiting www.wesleyancollege.edu/admission/.  

- Based on the number of registrations we have already received, we are finding this to be good weekend for young women and their families t attend.

- Auditions and Portfolio Review
Music and theater faculty will be available for auditions and art faculty will be available for portfolio reviews if your student RSVP ahead of time.

- Auditions and portfolio reviews also may be scheduled during an individual campus visit or special Visitation Event.  

- A Home Away From Home 
Located in Macon, Georgia, Wesleyan is part of a college town with over 15,000 students including neighboring colleges and universities such as Mercer University, Georgia College and State University, and middle Georgia State University.
