UNG FSLA France 2016

High School rising Juniors and Seniors are invited to participate in a language immersion experience in Angers, France. The Federal Service Language Academy Abroad at the University of North Georgia offers high school students an amazing opportunity to experience first-hand French customs, culture, and daily life.
Students will:
  • attend daily French lessons
  • participate in cultural and historical excursions
  • be housed with a host family
This is a dual-enrollment program. Students must be admitted into the University of North Georgia and will earn both college and high school credits.

Pre-College Field Studies Experience

Sewanee Environmental Institute is hosting a Pre-College Field Studies Experience in which rising juniors and seniors who are passionate about the outdoors and interested in advancing knowledge and skills in the study of the environment will spend two weeks exploring the ecosystems of the Cumberland Plateau, led by senior faculty members. Students will also be able to enjoy bouldering, canoeing, caving and mountain biking for fun.
